Bourbon Smash

  • 1 ounce of Batey Turbinado sugar simple syrup

  • 2 ounces bourbon

  • 2 ounces ginger beer

  • sliced apples, for garnish

  • cinnamon stick, for garnish

Turbinado Sugar Simpe Syrup

  • ½ cup Batey Turbinado sugar

  • ½ cup water




Preparation

1. Whisk together the sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk until the sugar dissolves.

2. Bring the mixture to a simmer then turn off the heat. Let cool to room temperature.

3. Store in a sealed container (this will be good for up to one month)

4. Fill a glass with crushed ice. Add the batey sugar simple syrup, then the bourbon. Stir it. Top it off with the ginger beer, the apple slices and cinnamon stick.

5. Enjoy!!
